Is this your first visit to Malaysia what are your first impressions?
I really like this country, first of all because in Kazakhstan its winter and its very cold, in Malaysia its summer all the time. I like the capital city Kuala Lumpur it’s very beautiful. The Twin Towers are very beautiful, I like the city, I like the mentality of the people and their traditions, and I like the girls traditional cloths, they are very beautiful and the people are very kind.

What were your expectations of this program before you came to MISI?
I thought it would only be lectures and information but it’s made up of some really good interaction and supply chain games. I thought that all the professors would be locals with very poor English, so I was impressed to find that they are from all around the world and I can understand their English.

How was the teaching method on this program?
I really enjoy the interactive method of teaching, the professors use good slides which are easy to understand, and they share a lot of new information with a different approach.

How is your hotel?
Our hotel is a big happy surprise to us, because I thought we would be staying on campus, the hotel is very good, comfortable and clean and its very cool that there are only two girls to a room which is great.

What improvements if any would you make to the program?
I wouldn’t change anything in the program its all excellent.

What are your lasting impressions that you will take away from your visit here at MISI ?
I really want to thanks the professors for their very interesting lectures, which are wonderful, and I want to thank MISI for giving us the chance to come here and participate in this program.

Is this your first visit to Malaysia what are your first impressions?
No I have previously studied Business Administration here three years ago at SEGi University, Kota Damansara. I love Malaysia, I now have many local friends and friends from Kazakhstan who are studying here so I try to visit as often as I can. I enjoy every thing about Malaysia, including the spicy food and I especially love Tom Yam soup with chilli padi and nasi goring with double chicken.

How was the teaching method on this program?
If you don’t pay attention the teachers will very quickly attract your attention and bring you back to concentrate. The games were very good for student life experience. The teachers showed us the supply chain strategy rules that operate around the world. and now I understand that the same strategy is used all over the world as in Kazakhstan. Before I didn’t have any understanding of logistics, now I understand the flow and chain of events from the factory to the customer, and from the beer game we understand how the business is running.

What improvements if any would you make to the program?
For me I liked everything about the program, It would have been perfect if we could have met with the MISI students, we could have shared our understandings and been able to help each other. Because we come from our very cold country, I wish that our hotel had have had a swimming pool.
What is your impression of MISI?
MISI is a very impressive university, and the lectures are conducted in a very professional way, with the lecturers always want to help you learn more about supply chain.

Is this your first visit to Malaysia what are your first impressions?
Yes this is my first time to Malaysia and I find the country has a very interesting culture. I now know about the unusual rules in Malaysia like not to point my finger and the dress code for women in this Muslim country. The national food really surprised me because its so spicy, which we’re not used to. The weather is very warm compared with our country. In conclusion I think Malaysia is a very well developed country and I really like it.

How does the MISI program align with your university course?
Supply Chain Management is a very interesting program for any students studying management. For accountants its very helpful for increasing the profit and quality of a company, and the methods shown by teachers at MISI are very useful. It was really interesting to see how supply chain send the products from the factory to the customer, and the MISI program is not only theoretical its also very practical.

What are the highlights of the MISI program?
I think all of the information given to me on this trip can help to open news doors in my education and increase my skills and knowledge in my job for the future.

What improvements if any would you make to the MISI program?
I would extend the program to two weeks and arrange ideally we would like the opportunity to meet MISI students.

What are your lasting impressions that you will take away from your visit here at MISI?
MISI The organisation is really very good. The teachers are very helpful and respectful. I think MISI gives its students a very good opportunity to build a very successful career for the future. I’m very glad to get so such information from your very qualified specialist teachers, I feel so lucky that I can share your teachers with your talented students, and I only wish they could have been here for us to meet.

Is this your first visit to Malaysia what are your first impressions?
The food is very spicy and I don’t really like garlic, but the steaks are very tasty. Last night I was very happy to find McDonalds in Kuala Lumpur.

How was the teaching method on this program?
The teachers use very interesting information to explain the subject, which is really good. I have learnt a lot about the concept of supply chain management in many other countries around the world, and the whole concept is really well explained, and has now cleared up a lot of my confusion that I had in Kazakhstan as I think it has been much more clearly explained here at MISI.

How did you find the Games?
The beer game was a good game for experience, it was not easy at first but after a few rounds I began to understand it. The game really makes you think what your doing and how it effects others up and down the supply chain. We are really made to understand the system and how it works. I now understand supply chain management much better than before I came here.

Was there a language a barrier?
The professors were able to talk slower and our interpreter was very good and funny, and those that understood were able to explain to those that needed help.

What is your impression of MISI?
MISI is very beautiful, trees and grass all around, and a beautiful place.

What are your lasting impressions that you will take away from MISI and your visit here?
I am so surprised at how polite and hospitable people are, the relationships are really good and people are so genuinely happy to see us at MISI. I’m so happy to have come to this university it has been a marvelous experience.

Is this your first visit to Malaysia what are your first impressions?
Yes it is my first time, Malaysia is not a big country but Kuala Lumpur is a big city. Malaysia is very friendly and I was surprised to find so many different languages spoken.

How was the teaching method on this program?
The teaching at MISI is very good, all of the lessons are easy to understand and I enjoy them very much. Of course most of us can fully understand but we cannot speak English so we always have to rely on the interpreter who did a good job.

How did you find the final test?
Very difficult, I think we forgot some of what we had learnt because we went into Kuala Lumpur at night. I think I only got about 6 or 7 answers correct. But afterwards we went through the questions again and learnt from the answers with the teacher.

Was there a language a barrier?
The professors were able to talk slower and our interpreter was very good and funny, and those that understood were able to explain to those that needed help.

What are your lasting impressions that you will take away from your visit here at MISI?
I understood most of the concepts on the program but I think the program could have been longer so we could learn more. I will certainly tell my friends that MISI is a very good university, where we enjoyed our stay and mixing with the people at MISI was a very good experience. I can share this experience and what I have learnt with my friends.

Is this your first visit to Malaysia what are your first impressions?
Yes it is my first time to Malaysia and I really like it, the people are friendly and good, and I was surprised at how big Kuala Lumpur is. I like the hot weather because in Kazakhstan it’s now minus 20 degrees.

How was the teaching method on this program?
Everything is good, but I wish we could speak better English, the interpreter helps us a lot to understand.

How did you find the Games?
I like the games but I found them very difficult. I think if we had more time I could have been able to fully understand the full picture.

How is your hotel?
For me I found the hotel very basic, and I didn’t like the food, but it was ok for a short stay. At MISI the food was very good because they gave us the type of food that we enjoy.

What are your lasting impressions that you will take away from your visit here at MISI?
Everything for me was very good except the hotel; I like the people and the atmosphere at MISI very much.
